About The Design

The 55 Gallon USA Rain Barrel is a combination of new (20%) and recycled (80%) materials blended into a new barrel with no previous usage. The locking ring and lid prevent children, pets and wildlife from accessing the rain barrel-an important feature to consider in your purchase. The smooth interior walls of the barrel and the dark color deter algae buildup meaning less time cleaning and more time for summer activities. The solid brass spigot connects to a garden or soaker hose and allows dispensing to nearby flowers or landscaping. Our 55 Gallon USA Rain Barrel comes equipped with a flex-spout for connection to the downspout and an overflow port that redirects water away from your home keeping your foundation dry thereby preventing deterioration.

About The Materials

Each rain barrel is made of high density polyethylene HDPE that blocks UV light and is resistant to fading and corrosion. Polyethylene is an extremely durable plastic that is ideal for outdoor products because of its resistance to rust, mold, mildew and rotting.
