Manufactured by the Ace Roto-Mold Division of Den Hartog Industries, Utility Tanks are available in a variety of sizes to meet your storage needs. The complete line is suitable for storage of liquids in either an indoor or outdoor environment. The quality of workmanship and materials put into manufacturing every Utility Tank ensures longevity and endurance.
About The Design
Each Utility Tank is manufactured using rotational molding where the resin material (polyethylene) is both heated and cooled while undergoing rotation ensuring the strength and integrity of the tank. The actual thickness of the tanks walls vary from a nominal thickness of .300 to .375 dependent upon the total gallon size of the tank. The 250 and 400 gallon Utility Tanks are rectangular and specifically designed for upright placement. Both tanks come with a 16” vented lid and all necessary fittings. The tanks feature gallon indicators and have translucent tank walls to assist in leveling of the tank and offer bottom drainage to ensure complete drain out.
About The Materials
Utility Tanks are made of polyethylene with U.V inhibitors. Polyethylene is an extremely durable and long lasting material commonly used for outdoor products. The use of polyethylene with U.V. inhibitors in the manufacturing process ensures the longevity of the tank and a decreased effect of sun exposure to the tanks contents. The polyethylene with U.V. stabilizers are designed for containment of liquids up to 2.0 specific gravity.
