About The Design

All Roth MultiTanks are manufactured using a state-of-the-art computer controlled multi-layer blow-molding process. The process of blow –molding has been used extensively and perfected in Europe over the last 35 years where 1 out of every 2 tanks feature blow-molded construction. Each Roth MultiTank features 4 layers of varying polyethylene to ensure the units are watertight, will not crack or corrode and will retain their true structural integrity. The versatile Roth MultiTank is lightweight, easy to install, requires no water backfill and can be manifolded for additional storage needs. When used as a Rainwater Cistern tank it supplements other water sources and is very useful when the regular source of water becomes low in dry periods of the year. The Roth MultiTanks are code compliant and meet or exceed state requirements and NSF 61.

About Blow Molding Blow molding is an automated process designed for high production molding. A “Test-tube shape" is Blow molded, whose design is optimized for the blown finished part. A blow pin then inflates the tube to the mold walls. The mold opens, and the cooled part is ejected. Blow-molding is one of the most environmentally sound methods of design as no air, water or solid waste is discharged.

About The Materials

The Roth MultiTank consists of 4 layers starting with an inner layer of FDA Approved Virgin High Density Polyethylene. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is the most chemically-resistant material in the world. The second and third layers are manufactured using extremely durable and long lasting polyethylene. The outer layer is black, UV-stabilized polyethylene. The use of polyethylene in the manufacturing process ensures the longevity and structural integrity of the product.
